  8. I had also tried to find the location of the home they used on the TV show “Yes, Dear” when I was out in LA. Does anyone know where it is? It actually looks like the Walsh house used on the original 90210 series, but it’s not the same one, but is the same style.

          2. Oh my god you guys it took me forever.. I just used my Google Maps app on my iPhone ( by the way that is one of the easiets ways to get an address, you can just drop the “pin” on an arial shot of a house and it gives you the address ) I also used regular Google Maps on the computer. It really took forever to find it, but that’s pretty much how I did it : )

  14. Hey Lindsay! Ok ive tried to find the beach house that Hannah Montana lives in on the show. Ive tried to cyberstalk it but am not having any luck. I kinda assumed it was in malibu, and then I found an article online saying that it was up for sale and that it was on Broad Beach Road in Malibu. But like i said, im not having any luck finding it. Any ideas??

      1. Hi Lindsay, I found it!!!! All I did was looking on a web page it is a real estate page http://www.zillow.com The address is 30760 Broad Beach Road Maliba Ca. Jen you were right on the street thanks!! name. The Picture on the page is taken from the sky, shows homes in a line as you cross the picture the house is listed at 80k click on that house and tells all about the house.Can you get a chance to stalk it soon!!! PLEASE!!!!! I would love to see what the house looks like from the front. As I said my little girl loves Hannah Montana

        1. Hi Audra, I found the address for the malcolm in the middle house. The real house is located at 12334 Cantura Street in Studio City Ca . If you go to a web called http://www.see-stars.com and click onthe link shooting locations,go down the page to the bottom click link 90’s TV and you should find it. I hope this helps. jenny

            Sadly, the What Lies Beneath house was a fake. Producers built the facade of the home in D.A.R. State Park in Addison, Vermont. The house was pretty much just a shell with no interior. The interiors were then built on a soundstage. I know, such a bummer, huh?? 🙁

    I came across a episode of ‘Living with Fran’ when flicking channels recently. The exterior shots of Fran’s house look very similar to the house in ‘Father of the Bride’. Just wondering if its the same house??

  19. While watching the first Beethoven movie I was struck by the similarities between the Newton’s house and the Camden’s house, and thought they might be in the same neighborhood/city. Any chance you know where Beethoven was filmed?

    1. Hi about 10-15 years ago going on the backlot tour at Universal Stuidos in Hollywood, The main neighborhood, where several movies were filmed, is where the homes where Beethoven were filmed, it has since been changed to Wisteria Lane, as seen in Desperate Housewifes. Ive gome many times since then, and it it not the same unfortnately.

      1. Actually a house in South Pasadena was used as the Beethoven house. 🙂 It’s located at 1405 Milan Avenue. I’ve been meaning to blog about it, but keep forgetting to rent the movie so that I can make screen captures. Will do that soon!

        1. LOL thats the second time Universal backlot tour gave the wrong information…….They specifically said.”heres the house used in the Beethovan movies”…..and showed a scene on there little tv’s on the tram!! I must say the house looked the same!……shows what they know 🙂

Actually now that I think about it, maybe they made a replica of the house on the Universal lot and used that for the filming of the movie’s sequels. 🙂 I never saw any of the sequels, so I’m not sure, but that’s a very good possibility. What was the other thing Universal was wrong about? Do tell! 🙂

  20. Hi! I stumbled across your site a while ago and I love it. I just wish I had known about it before my last trip to Cali. because there are so many places I would have checked out!

    I have been wondering since the movie “CLUE” (1985) whether the mansion is a real location or a studio set. I would love to know if you can help.

    Also, as I wanted to share some info regarding a mutual fave- Never Been Kissed. I know for a fact that part of filming did indeed take place in the Chicago area because I was invited to be an extra for the carnival scene by a friend who got work on the movie. Another friend went (threw a string of misfortunes I could not- argggh!) and ended up on the Ferris wheel with Drew Barrymore and the rest of the cast for hours filming. She said Drew was so nice to everyone and really pretty, Michael Vartan was cute but quiet around the extras, and that Jessica Alba was not nice at all “DI-VA!” was actually how she put it. : )

    1. Hi according to IMDB, clue was filmed at paramount studios in Los Angeles, and the mansion was indeed a set for the interiors, It states that it was filmed in stage 16. Im not familier with the movie, maybe the exterior shot of the mansion was an actual mansion????
