I am taking today off to celebrate the Fourth of July, but I wanted to wish all of my fellow stalkers a very happy holiday.  I hope all of you are enjoying a safe and happy three-day weekend.

Sorry to do this yet again, but I am taking today off.  I spent all weekend, including Friday, in the Desert helping my parents unpack and unfortunately did not have time to write a blog post.  I will be back tomorrow, though, with a whole new location, so until next time . . . Happy Stalking! 

My parents officially moved to Palm Springs today, marking the first time in over a decade that we will not be living in the same zip code.  Watching their U-Haul drive off was one of the saddest moments I’ve experienced as of late, so I was not in a really good place to write a blog for today.  I literally cried my entire drive home.  I know that Palm Springs is only an hour and a half away, but it’s going to be extremely hard for me to live that far away from them.  I do promise to be back tomorrow, though, with a whole new post, so until that time . . . Happy Stalking! 

I hate to do this AGAIN this week, but because I spent all day yesterday in Palm Springs with my dad – doing the final walk-through of my parents’ new house!!! – I did not have time to write a new blog post for today.  I came so very close to finishing the post I was working on, but am just way too beat to complete it.  I will be back tomorrow though, so until that time, Happy Stalking! 

For my birthday this year, my parents surprised me with a one night’s stay in the room at the Ingleside Inn in Palm Springs where my girl Jen Aniston and then-husband Brad Pitt spent their honeymoon.  (That’s me just about to go into the room for the first time in the above picture.  )  The Grim Cheaper ended up surprising me with a second night’s stay in the room, so needless to say it was a VERY exciting weekend for me.  Unfortunately though, because we left for the desert at 10 a.m. on Friday and did not get home until yesterday evening, I did not have time to write a post for today.  But I promise to back tomorrow with a whole new location and will also be blogging about Brad and Jen’s honeymoon suite in the very near future.

I am taking the day off once again as I spent all day yesterday in the hospital with my dad.  He should be coming home today, though, so hopefully I will be able to write a new post for tomorrow.  Thanks to all of my fellow stalkers for their well wishes and kind words – they mean a lot.  🙂

This past Friday morning the Grim Cheaper and I headed out to Palm Springs for a little three-day getaway and, while I did manage to sneak some stalking into the trip, I was unfortunately not able to write a blog post for today. But I will be back tomorrow with a whole new location, so . . .
