This stalker had a pretty amazing, but exhausting weekend (which included a fabulous trip to Disneyland – as well as a special preview of Cars Land – with my girl Miss Pinky Lovejoy, from the Thinking Pink blog) and I was unfortunately not able to get a blog done for today. But I will be back tomorrow with a whole new location – from Parks and Recreation, my new fave show.

Glad to see you’re giong to blog about Parks and Recreation! I’ve been to the city hall, the pit, and Ann’s house but there are a bunch of other places from the show I’m curious to know where are so I can visit them.

Which locations are you looking for. Fellow stalker Owen gave me a whole bunch. 🙂 Great show!

Most of the outdoor scenes that they film (like from S3 episode Time Capsule) were shot at the Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks park. I know because I have said Hi to Amy Poehler and Adam Scott there during filming once! 🙂

But seeing as you’re a filming locations goddess, you probably already know this. 🙂 🙂

Mainly any of the restaurants or bars that they go to, those are my favorite filming locations to visit. For example there is a place on the show called The Bulge Bar that I’d like to find, I noticed on one of the episodes the street address said 13715, but of course I don’t know what street or even which city it’s in. In season two they eat at a place called Jurassic Fork which if it was filmed at a real restaurant looks like it’d be an awesome place to visit.

Oh and how could I forget the Snakehole Lounge which I know they shoot somewhere in Hollywood but don’t know the address.

Just browsing the site and thought I would look around for those locations you were interested. Anyways, went to the site above and browsed their commercial bar photos. Sure enough I recognized the unique tables and lighting within a couple minutes. I feel like I’ve driven by the bulge bar before but cannot place it.

Those pics are of the Ultra Ecco Lounge on Cahuenga which is used as the Snakehole Lounge, which Tom owns on P&R. The Bulge is the Oxwood Inn in Van Nuys. 🙂

Oh and Jurassic Fork is Clifton’s Cafeteria on Broadway. 🙂
