Lauren Conrad’s Park La Brea Apartment

Since LC will soon be moving on up, I thought I’d put up her old address for people to stalk while they still have the chance. On The Hills, Lauren’s apartment was always referred to as “The Hillside Villas in West Hollywood”, but LC’s apartment was actually located in Los Angeles in a complex called The Villas at Park La Brea.

I found this location last year on one of my favorite sites – www.tvgasm.com. Apparently there had been some disagreement between fans as to whether LC lived at the Pallazo in Park La Brea or at The Villas at Park La Brea. TVgasm set the record straight and right after reading the article I set out for The Villas, camera in hand.

You will definitely recognize the entrance on South Burnside Avenue as the spot where Heidi, looking quite sullen, waved goodbye to Lauren as she drove off in a UHaul with Spencer. (That’s why I’m pretending to look sad in this pic.) 🙂 It’s also the spot where Brody said good-bye to Lauren this season when she left for Paris.

You can check out the website for The Villas at Park La Brea here. The site even shows what availability they have. I wonder if Lauren’s old apartment is up there yet!

They filmed at both apparently. They are both owned by the same company. I currently live at Palazzo East and I’m binging the show now. I’m on episode 3 and the halls, stucco color, interior doors, kitchen and layout are all the Palazzo East. The driveway where you see the pics in this post are the same where Lauren gets picked up for the airport to go to NY. And that’s actually the Villas. So it wouldn’t be surprising if they used both properties because they are next to each other.

i visited the milano – palazzo east apartment and i am very shore it’s lauren’s apartment at season 2 of the hills.
i asked it there and they told me that i was right about it.

To clarify, the Villas and the Palazzo are owned by the same real estate group, Aim Co. The first season of the Hills, Heidi and Lauren lived in the Villas, 2 bedroom, 2 bath Tuscany loft. You can check out the floorplan on their website. The second and part of the third season, they moved to a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 story apartment at the Palazzo. They moved into the Milano floorplan which you can also check on the website. Since these two apartments are very close to each other, it is possible that MTV decided to shoot on the Villas entrance for their privacy. They also used quite a bit of outdoor and aerial shots of the Villas and Palazzo together as these two apartments do look very similar.

No they did NOT live at the palazzo they lived at Villas at park La Brea. I know this for a fact. And Heidi’s mother has money. They are just not as extravagant in her small colorado town but money they do have

i lived at palazzo when lauren heidi and audrina lived there. to answer the question about heidi being rich. no. she’s not. she met lauren in san francisco when lauren went to school. she came back to laguna with lauren and lived with her and her family. shortly after that, they moved to l.a. and thus, the hills were born. but heidi is not rich, she comes from a small town in colorado. that’s why she got her breasts done and her nose done, and dresses so ridiculous. she’s trying to fit in here so badly. and now she and spencer are lepers.

Hey, I just realized something-
Lauren lived at the Palazzo and when they started showing Stephanie Pratt’s apartment, it looked like it was at the Palazzo too. Anybody else think I’m right?

Hi Lindsay this is Chris Leinweber, I just wanted to tell you that I found Hilary duff’s house. It’s located at Toluca Lake, her address is 10100 Toluka Lake Ave., Toluca Lake, CA 91602 Pretty cool huh? I also found Alyson Michalka’s house. It’s located at Calabasas, I couldn’t get her address numbers but I got the street name and satillite pictures of her house. Prado de los Gansos, Calabasas, CA 91302. Usually I can get the numbers when I click on the house on my Virtual Earth program, but her house is like new so I couldn.t get her numbers. That’s how I got Hilary’s numbers, Hilary’s house has been there for a while so I got them easily. Okay I guess I’ll see you later write me back and I can give you more adresses of celebrity houses that I found :).

Just looked at the Palazzo website and I think you might be right! Although it wouldn’t surprise me at all if they shot the whole thing on a soundstage. 🙂 I agree with you – depsite all that, I still LOVE the show and will forever be hooked!

I was looking for apartments in LA and I visited the Palazzo at Park La Brea and looked at the Milano floor model and it seemed so familiar to me and then I realized that is was LC’s “new apartment” on The Hills. While I think they shoot ‘scenes’ at the Villas at Park La Brea, her actual apartment is at the Palazzo. Look at the website and you can totally see. Her first apartment seems to have been at the Villas but not her new one which only proves they stage scenes on the show. Despite that I still love it and will continue to watch it. Just thought you should know.
